With a list of schools, you can learn more about each when they all send you their admission packets.

The next thing you need to do after preparing a list schools (Step 2) is request application materials from each one. It's easy, as these steps go, but very important.

When should I take this step?
Seventeen (17) to twelve months before school starts.

How do I get schools to send me applications?

You can get application materials one of three ways: send a letter, send an e-mail, or request the application materials through the school's website. An increasing number of schools allow people to apply online While you may choose to submit your application that way, What you need at this point is the information that comes with the physical application.

What should I put in a letter when requesting an application?
It can be a very simple letter. All you need to do is write a letter that includes your name, mailing address, and interest in applying for admission. Other information can be helpful, but is not necessary.
